I-V. Happy Kwanzaa
As many of you will recall, Kwanzaa is a cultural holiday, not a religious one, so therefore anyone can take part in a Kwanzaa celebration, such as the one being held this evening – right now, for that matter – at the Rahway Recreation Center. If you’re in the area, come on by! By the way, in the spirit of Cooperative Economics – Ujamaa – you’ll be able to patronize local vendors, myself included.
If you’re not, you can get your copy of Jackie Robinson and the Negro Leagues here – http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/150040876X/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1437846006&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SY200_QL40&keywords=jackie+robinson+and+the+Negro+Leagues&dpPl=1&dpID=41bm%2By5hckL&ref=plSrch
…and your copy of WWII Diary here – http://www.amazon.com/WWII-Diary-Travels-Experiences-Soldiers/dp/1494907445
VI-VII. Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday to my fellow dunker, LeBron James!
And Internet, in the wake of the horrific Tamir Rice decision, we need not judge LeBron on his lack of a statement or action. He has proven on numerous occasions to be one of the most conscientious star athletes since Ali and will undoubtedly be on point in whatever direction he goes in this regard.
